Commission Slots:

A few people have been wondering where I have been lately, so I decided to do a journal post to just explain a bit as to why I've been gone and what's happening.

For a few years, as some of you know, I've been dealing with GI issues. In the last few months, it's gotten so bad that it's been a struggle to just cope. I eat a possible 1 - 2 times a day at most, and I've lost almost 50 lbs this year. I would LOVE to eat more, but my appetite and nausea prevent me from doing so.

I have not had an official diagnosis, but the evidence has shown us that it's possibly Crohn's. I have been doing okay in managing my symptoms and the like, but it takes up all my energy.

I have been trying to do some animating and drawing. I have been working on a few things to practice and do for people (one a commission, the other a favour for a friend), especially in animation. But, it takes brain power. And brain power needs food to work. When I can't eat and instead am given extreme fatigue and lethargy, it makes it hard to get art out every single day. I do have lots of sketches I have in my books! Haha! Easier to draw in my sketchbook while in bed or on the couch. :)

That being said, if you're still interested in commissioning me and have no time constraints, then I'm still taking commissions. I have been working on things slowly, and I'm improving. My artwork over the last while has certainly gotten better. But, if you DO mind waiting for artwork, I'd suggest coming back when I'm feeling better.

The last while, I had an episode that sent me to the hospital. I was throwing up everything, including water, so I got rushed to the hospital. They said my gallbladder was ticked off and that I had inflammation in my small intestine. My GI, however, still is not convinced. He wants the MRI first before we do anything. And, my MRI has been waiting for a couple months, now. I may not get in until November or even December if it's bad. So, in the meantime, I'm left having to wait and "do what I can" to get by. Until I get the proper diagnosis, I'm left losing weight (since it's not 10 lbs+ a month, it's not 'urgent') and struggling to eat.

Thankfully, I have a great support system, and I've got lots of people around me who have been helping me in my life. So, you needn't worry about me. :) I'm working on my health, and hopefully, soon, I'll be able to come back to DA and the internet with new gusto and energy. Eventually, I plan on going back to animation college to graduate, and I have several small animated shorts I have planned for the well as some not-so-small projects. But, for now, my focus has mostly been on my health. That is why I haven't done much in terms of artwork, journals, or postings of any sort. I suppose I should at least post a sketch here and there, eh? Haha!

If you've read this far, thank-you for reading! I appreciate your support and thank you for any comments or kind thoughts you make. :)

Oh, thank GROP!!! I have finally figured out the ultimate solution for me, right now! It gives me everything I need, and I didn't have to spend a SINGLE DIME! :happybounce:

My Adobe CC subscription that I'd gotten from my art college has completely expired, so I either had to uninstall everything or start paying $50 a MONTH. Yeah, no. If I can't afford to buy a stand for my Cintiq, I can't afford up-to-date Creative Cloud memberships. Stare

I have, in the past, bought several programs across a couple platforms that are perfect for art. I had bought several small apps for the iPad (when I had one years ago), Paint Tool Sai for PC, and Clip Studio Paint (aka: Manga Studio). I have pro on my Mac, and I normally use it for inking (and now painting, too). And, then, I learned how to animate in it (WAY easier than Photoshop). So, I had an animation program that was somewhat decent. Problem is that it only allows 24 frames in total. XP No more. Most of my animations are often in the 100's (when I'm actually in the zone). I was prepared to upgrade to EX, but...then... ... ...the PRICE...

...oh, GROP, that price...
TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY DOLLARS TO UPGRADE?! Shocked  This is the one thing I hate about being Canadian. You can never tell if that's actually the final price or not. :-_-: So, yeah. Nope. Not spending that money on that, ONLY for the animation (no other feature in the EX package I would ever use).

Pirate Flag  Cue the accordions, peg legs, and rum. Why is the rum always gone?

I found Photoshop and Adobe Flash CS 6, and everything FINALLY works PERFECT!!!! No more Cintiq problem, either (the whole missing strokes thing). I'm finally able to work on ALL my projects, now!

I am currently working on some animation for a friend of mine, an animated intro for a YouTuber I like, and a small short for one of my favourite YouTubers Markiplier. I'll most likely be posting links to W.I.P's, or posting little sneaks here and there. I'm just SO happy that I figured out a solution that costs NOTHING for me!

Once I get going with my animations, I plan on opening commissions and the like. I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. Littletale Pap icon
So, I have this awesome Cintiq 21UX with a decent Macbook Pro. I have fully up-to-date drivers, and everything works well...

...except my friggin' animation programs?

WHY are all my animation programs not working? Adobe Animate (formerly Flash) suffers from missing and disappearing pen strokes (whatever drawing tool I use to draw besides the shape tools). Clip Studio Paint (Manga Studio) only allows 24 frames at a time (unless I buy the big expensive program). OpenToonz lags so bad, I can't get a single line drawn in, and the program ends up crashing beyond repair. Flipbook (from Sketchbook) requires a subscription, which I cannot afford, and it doesn't even produce final animations, either (just more sketchy stuff). Photoshop is a pain in the rear to try and animate with (it's honestly a sad attempt at an animation program). And, ToonBoom is FAR too expensive for me to buy. program do I use for my animations?

I'm going to try reinstalling Adobe Animate, but I'm not very optimistic. After all, the Adobe tech I chatted with last night had no idea why it was happening and needed to escalate the issue up to the engineers. I've tried looking, and there doesn't seem to be a fix to it.

If anyone knows the issue with Flash and the Cintiq 21ux (I try to draw ten strokes, but only 6 - 7 show up...mostly happens when sketching quickly, and no other programs are open), let me know how to fix it. I'd love to be able to start animating the Markiplier short I have planned.
NOW, I feel excited!

The first time around I bought it, there was an issue with the shipping address, but instead of trying to fix it by talking to me, the guy ignored me and didn't do anything for two weeks. Ended up getting my money back from eBay, thank goodness.

However, after watching for a couple days and staring at my computer screen solid for about 30 minutes, I managed to snipe a Cintiq!

This one, however, is guaranteed, through a business owner online with 100% customer rating, has sold over 3500 products, and had in the description that it had been tested and will work for sure. If there's any issue, I can email eBay about it. While it's just the Cintiq itself, no extras like cords, I bought a power cord (I have the other cord already, since it's just a VGA/DVI cable) on eBay that will arrive around the same time as the Cintiq. I'll be figuring out a setup once I get it all here, since I can't afford a stand for the thing. Altogether, it's cost me about $300-$400 (I can't remember which it is, since I keep getting the amounts mixed up...Canadian to American conversations confuse me often). I'm just SO excited to get back into the swing of things!

To those who would like any commissions, please send me a note, and we can get you on the list for when the Cintiq gets here! :)

By the way, the Cintiq I found is a 21UX model (the one previous to the 22HD ones). It's older but the tech is still darn good!
So, after a year, I finally got in to see a specialist about my digestive system. I've been struggling to eat for the last few years, so it's been harder and harder to function. I'm getting some major testing done on March 1, so everyone wish me luck/pray for me! Please! I'm terrified, since I have to be put to sleep for it (it'll be two or three days of misery).

Also, in terms of my Youtube channel and DA, I've been forced to take a long break, as I have no money for equipment needed or for the softwares. I don't have a tablet, at the moment, that can give my shoulders the break they need (Cintiqs and Yiynovas are best for that, but I can't find ANY local deals and nothing good online). AND, I don't have the recording software needed for the Youtube. I could buy that, but it's $100 for the license, and the tablets that I need start at $800 CAN. It's taken months to earn much of anything, and even that was spent this month for the bills that came in.

We're in a tricky pickle, but I'm hoping to get out of it soon. Someone offered me some work, so I'm very excited about that. Looking forward to getting some work in, and I'll be doing artistic stuff (so that'll be nice). Even just a couple hundred a month will be HUGE in our budget.

Anyway, I thought I'd let you guys know why there hasn't been any activity. I also have decided to NOT go back to school, for the time being, since I'm still very sick and tired. It would be better if I go when I'm feeling better and can actually DO the classes instead of adding more stress to everyone involved.

That's the update for February.

Deviantart Questionaire

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 16, 2015, 10:22 PM

1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?

I've been here since... ... ... *goes to check* March 2007. SHEESH. LONG time!

2. What does your username mean?

In the beginning, Maria-Disaster was my username. It was my favourite character from my comic (Maria) and the second part of the comic name (Experiment Disaster). I was obsessed with my comic, at that time. Now, my username is Bethany Angelstar. It's my first name and the name of my online last name. :)

3. Describe yourself in three words.

Energetic, logical, hyper-creative

4. Are you left or right handed?

Right handed all the way!

5. What was your first deviation?

It was a deviation of a angelic girl that was originally going to be a character in my Experiment Disaster comic but decided against it. Still, it's very pretty. :)

Samantha by BethanyAngelstar

6. What is your favorite type of art to create?

I love designing characters, redrawing my artwork (or other people's if given permission), and comics. I also quite enjoy small animations, though I'm still trying to figure out how to do it AND clean it up. :XD: Most of the time, I end up with fun cartoony things.

7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

It would probably be something along the lines of the modern Disney style, so something very Glen Keane. I love his work, and I would KILL to be able to animate like him!!

8. What was your first favorite?

The first three I actually faved are now in storage (wish I could remember what the heck they WERE), but this is the earliest fave that wasn't in storage.

Bleach- Ice Dragon by ramy

9. What type of art do you tend to favorite the most?

I like well-done artwork, overall, but I tend to go on faving rampages after getting into a new fandom. Haha!I like artwork that's compiled nicely, is done really well (technique-wise), or just tickles my funny bone.

10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

I don't have an all-time. I have several I enjoy quite a bit, but my all-time favourite artist period would be Glen Keane, truth be told. He's not on DA, but I don't have one here on DA that's an all-time favourite.

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

I would SO want to meet :iconwazaga: She's been an awesome friend for years, and I would LOVE to meet her in person, for once, even if it was JUST to give her a BIG hug!!!

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

Well, one of the biggest people to impact my life was actually a guy named :icongrathiam: He supported me through a very deep depression I went through, and he sent me long posts of encouragement and love. Eventually, I ended up marrying him.

The other deviant to affect my life was :iconwazaga: She's been a kick-ass friend and an awesome artist to boot! She's inspired me to keep going and that I CAN make friends with other girls (something that I've ALWAYS struggled with my entire life).

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?

Adobe Photoshop, Flash (animations), Wacom tablet, Cintiq (only if I can get my hands on one, but I use one at school), music, mechanical pencil and paper (traditional)

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

My most inspirational place is actually in bed, in the middle of the night, when I'm SUPPOSED to be SLEEP, GOSH-DANGIT!!!

15. What is your favorite DeviantArt memory?

My favourite DA memory? That would have to be just meeting new people, seeing the cool art, and getting awesome comments on my artwork (I LOVE comments more than faves, but I do like faves). I've also enjoyed the funny memes across the site.

October Update - Health Declining

Journal Entry: Sun Oct 18, 2015, 11:41 PM

So, I know I haven't been all that active online. I've been most active on Youtube, trying to build it up for a new channel I'm hoping to do to fill in my spare time, now. It'll be an animation/gaming channel, inspired by people like Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Game Grumps, and even Matthias. So, hopefully, I can get a little bit out there.

In terms of my health, I found out I'm severely lactose intolerant. After taking out the dairy completely from my diet, in less than two weeks, I have lost over 10 lbs. I have been unable to eat anything without severe pain. And, pain relief from abdominal pain is next to impossible to get without a proper diagnosis. So, for the time being, I'm stuck without a solution. My sleep is horrible, my energy is non-existent, my mood is most often depressed or exhausted, and my body has been weak and extremely stiff.

I have been diagnosed with severe fibromyalgia, and my doctor suspects Crohn's in the small intestine. However, THAT part of the diagnosis is the hardest with the lack of GI's in the area. But, right now, I haven't been able to eat much...MAYBE once a day, if I can handle anything. I can SOMETIMES force a couple snacks in, but it's very hard to find anything that will sit comfortably.

Though my challenges are hard and many, I've been trying to do what I can to continue going. What else can I do but keep going and keep smiling? For the time being, I'm going to be very slow in replying to comments, adding artwork up, or being at all active. All I ask is for patience and perhaps the odd happy comment here and there. :)

I hope this answers everyone's questions out there. If you have any other questions, please let me know, and I'll try catch you up to date.

Thanks for being patient, so far! I appreciate all your support and everything.

Feelings Sick and No Work

Journal Entry: Sat Aug 15, 2015, 3:15 PM

You may have noticed I haven't been that active on DA for a while, nor have I been posting a lot of artwork. I've mentioned, here and there, a project I was working on. I hadn't wanted to talk about it, since I was still in the process of getting a contract together, but sadly, it did not fall through.

It was to be a medical video with an animated doctor guiding the patient through what they could expect during the surgery and recovery. I had a character made and designed, and I was waiting for a script. However, the board of doctors decided they would go another route, and the project was called off.

Sigh. That was going to be my work for the next six months, and it would have brought in a lot of income. But, sadly, the job was lost, and I'm let to wonder what to do in the meantime that is easy on my body.

For those of you who know I'm sick, things have been getting worse. My body is now rejecting most foods, and most solid foods are giving me abdominal pain. To top this, I'm also getting more pain in my hips and back, and my face has broken out in an allergic reaction from who-knows-what. SO, I'm going to be doped up on Benadryl for the next little while to see if the swelling and hives go down. If not, it'll be ER time.

I hope your week is going better than mine! Send prayers and good lucks my way to see the specialists soon (and hopefully not have to wait several more months for them).

It's Been a While!

Journal Entry: Tue Jun 2, 2015, 12:26 PM

Hello, everyone out there in DA land!

Long time no chat!

Here's a bit of an update on what's been going on and why you haven't seen much of me, lately, besides the odd deviation and comment here and there.

Firstly, I've been VERY busy with school. I've been dealt a lot of homework (though, not as bad as LAST semester, thank goodness), which has been taking up a lot of my time. I've been learning digital's not the same as TRADITIONAL hand-drawn animation, so it's been very alien to me. I'm used to drawing out all the timing, and instead, I need to time it out with the given tools in the program. It takes a decent learning curve to figure it out. SHEESH. But, I'm STARTING to get it. I've also been doing Design for Animation, where we learn about set design. Those who know me well know that I am NOT that fond of backgrounds, which sets ARE. Now, I have to design a set based on a script for 'Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves'. I have to create it to where it's detailed enough that you know what time period and location you're in...but not too detailed to take away from the simple animation it's supposed to have. YEESH.

Secondly, I've been dealing with a LOT of health issues that has even caused me to miss classes. Abdominal pain has been constant, pretty much chronic, and it gets even worse whenever I eat. I used to keep it down to a minimal state by avoiding trigger foods like excess fat, spicy food, corn, and vegetables...but now, it's affected by everything I eat. Eggs and chicken seem to be the only things that don't affect my gut. I've been losing weight this last week, since I cannot eat anything and have been unable to digest anything. It's horrible, and waiting for a GI doctor here is THE WORST. In Canada, we have a pretty decent health care system...unless you live where I do. Our province has the fewest family doctors available, and wait times for specialists are sometimes even YEARS. So many people need them, and there's not enough of them to go around. I've been to the ER many times in the past few years for the same abdominal pain, but I haven't been given the tests needed to diagnose me properly. My family doctor (finally found a new one, after the old one kept putting my pain as just 'gas' and me needing to eat veggies and exercise...yeah right) has been helping me so much in trying to figure out what it is. She agrees that it could be something serious like Crohn's or Colitis. I just need to get some tests done to tell the GI to give me an appointment REALLY soon and to get me in for the specific tests I need. Because I have a family history of Colitis, that will add to the urgency. But, try getting the hospital to give you what you need. They only do a specific battery of tests, give you some morphine, and send you off on your way. I found out that morphine isn't even the medicine you give people for ABDOMINAL pain. It's not good for THAT pain.

It's been a real struggle, between also looking for work in the field and getting my son used to his therapists for his Autism, to keep social. If you ever want to talk, just send me a DA message or an email. I check the sites a lot...just don't DO much.

I hope to get some new stuff uploaded soon, including some of my animations.

I'm Still ALIVE... ... ...barely...

Journal Entry: Sat Feb 28, 2015, 9:21 PM

Good grief! When was the last time I posted on h--JANUARY 5TH!?!?!?!!!!?!?! I haven't made a single journal post since the dang term STARTED?!? Wow.

Okay. I haven't been on, because I have SO many classes, and ALL of them are asking a lot out of us. We, the students, are almost overloaded, this crazy semester.

I have...

Character Animation
Character Design
Layout and Production (posing key poses in flash for animators, moving camera in flash, building characters in flash)
Professional Development (how to be successful in the workforce, no matter where you work)
Life Drawing

... ... ...I'm exhausted. I'm late on two classes, right now (technically three, but one's super easy to catch up...just have to sit for four hours and draw life drawing). I'm losing weight, because I don't eat. top it off, my daughter's turned one, my son is developing new relationships with his family (LOVES his sister, now), and my hubby is now a top 'case study' that doctors are scrambling to get, because of his lack of nerves in his brain (and high function, which is crazy!).

Overall... ... is awesome.

When I get my two week break, I will be DA'ing it, gaming it, familying it, and SLEEPING it! ((actually, no, I have to make sure I'm ready for next term, which is ALL 8:30 AM classes, so no sleeping it...drat.)) I'm going to relax and enjoy myself!

I'll be posting what I've been up to at the end of the term. Only about four more weeks (or really THREE...AUGH!!!!!!!!!! :panic: )

If you've been missing me, send me a line (actually, more than a line, as my responses only go as far as the conversation takes me :XD: )

Hope to hear from you all!

Snow Day and Taggy-Thingy

Journal Entry: Mon Jan 5, 2015, 7:42 PM

So, it was supposed to be my first day of school, today, for the new term of 2015. Overnight, we got like 10 INCHES of snow (literally, not even exaggerating there). So, the buses were NOT going at ALL today in my town. So, my dad (who has a big truck that's MEANT for heavy weather like this) drove me. My tiny little car wouldn't have made it, since most of the roads hadn't even been plowed, yet. So, I get to school around 11:30 AM. 11: 39 AM, all classes were CANCELLED.

... ... ...:faint: I was all set for class, which was going to be CHARACTER DESIGN, and I ended up having to go home again. BLEH. Had a nap, instead. So, I guess that's what happens when you live in CANADA.

-10 Things About Me

1.) I am an animation fanatic and can tell you anything about the whole genre (I research it all the time).

2.) I can stretch my toes wider than anyone I've met, so far. It looks like stretching out my fingers.

3.) I'm anemic.

4.) I am two points away from having glaucoma, and my eyes are pretty terrible.

5.) I am obsessed with health and medical conditions.

6.) Chaos of ANY sort stresses me out, including chaos from other people.

7.) Despite being social and a happy, intelligent person, I don't have a lot of good friends. (like only a VERY select few at all, online and real life combined).

8.) I am ALL about customization!!!! CUSTOMIZE EVERYTHING!!!!!!

9.) I'm very logical and yet very creative in that logic (magic and fantasy have to make sense, TOO, you know!)

10.) I have Aspergers.

-10 Questions for Me:

1.) What is your favorite monster from European mythology?  -  European mythology? Probably the DRAGON, honestly. But, mermaids are a close second. And, they're not MONSTERS. They're misunderstood individuals.

2.) What group of people do you dislike the most?  -  Oh, gosh...the people who disregard LOGIC!!!!!! Autism is NOT caused my vaccines (the guy who stated that 'study' admitted to LYING), seat belts ARE essential on today's roads (the air bag will not prevent you from flying out the window), and someone who exploits their sexuality for popularity and money is NOT a hero or a genius (that includes Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj).

3.) If you could go back in time and change something, what would it be?  -  CHANGE something!? Are you NUTS?! Why would I change something and potentially ruin the future we have right NOW?! What if it got WORSE?! And, I would NEVER be able to return to my original timeline, unless I just witnessed the past and did NOT interfere with ANYTHING.

4. What is your opinion of the new DA logo?  -  Meh. The old one was something I could understand with the name. But, this one...I'd LOVE to know what the actual inspiration was.

5. Do you like or hate Coke-Cola?  -  Meh. I tolerate it. DR. PEPPER ALL THE WAY, BABY!!!!

6. What country would you like to visit the most?  -  JAPAN. Oh, gosh, JAPAN!!!! I'm learning Japanese to eventually be able to do business in Japan.

7. Do you think their are a lot of canines in the furry fandom?  -  There's a lot of canines in the world, anyway. I don't really mind. I love dogs, anyway! ESPECIALLY Huskies! ((my FURSONA is a Husky! :) ))

8. What do you think the world would be like without America?  -  Better. XP

9.What is the crappiest game you ever played?  -  Paper Mario Stickers. I ran out of stickers for a MINOR enemy. Ended up losing against a GOOMBA. Hated it.

10. Do you like old Spongebob or new Spongebob?
  -  OLD. The old had WAY better animation. I could forgive the terrible writing of the new stuff if the animation was better, but it neither has good animation NOR good writing. I hope Stephen Hillenburg can fix this terrible wrong (though, I'm sort of curious about the new Spongebob movie coming out soon).

And, lastly...

-10 Questions for YOU

1.) What food could you eat day in/day out, breakfast, lunch, and dinner?
2.) Do you play an instrument? If so, what instrument?
3.) What was your favourite toy growing up?
4.) What's your favourite game to play on a portable device? (DS, iPhone, Android, etc.)
5.) Have you gone to, are you in, or do you plan on attending college?
6.) Cheese?
7.) Do you keep a journal of any sort?
8.) Favourite animal?
9.) What's the strangest thing you've ever seen in your life?
10.) Animals or kids? Or both?

Anyone who wants to, you can do the tag! Just let me know if you do, so I can read it! :)

Hey! Trying out a new journal skin. I shall see how it goes.

Anyway, I know I said that Pokemon Destiny was on Haitus, but if you really like it, you can bring it out of haitus by becoming a PATREON for me!

Pledge some money a month, and all the money goes to helping me stay on top of the comic making process! There are some AWESOME rewards for pledging! It's all to a great cause, so I hope you can pledge!

If you can't pledge, that's alright, too. You can enjoy the pages when they come out in time. :)

I look forward to hearing from you all and seeing what you guys would like to do with some of the rewards!

College Update for Halloween

Journal Entry: Tue Oct 28, 2014, 12:38 AM

I have been SO busy with school! I've hardly any time for DA, anymore, it seems. However, I've been learning SO much in my animation schooling! Perspectives, timing, fluidity, much learning in just a couple weeks!

I'm starting to get an idea of my scheduling, and once I've figured out my sleeping habits, I'll be able to have more time to use for family and chatting with friends! :w00t: My sleeping habits have been odd, since getting onto a new medication. I'm going to talk to the doctor about getting OFF the blasted thing, since missing one day will make me FEEL drugged up...and it makes me tired all day. I'll be telling him I just want something else with as few side effects as POSSIBLE.

I have been working really hard to catch up with my life drawing assignments, as they've piled up a little (oops), but everything else is up to date. I'll probably be looking for some old magazines tomorrow or downloading tons of images from online to use for a vision board for my Professional Development class! Can't wait!

You want to see some of the animations we've done so far? Here's a couple! :)

Let me know what you guys think (be nice, they're only pencil tests).

To those who haven't heard from me in a while, please be patient, as I'm still adjusting to the new schedule. I REALLY want to talk to you guys, so I'm not ignoring you. I'm just working out the timing.

I hope things are going well in yours lives!

Now...what should I do for Halloween? I want something that's generally easy to do that can include my naturally sharp fangs (yes, I have natural Vampire fangs, since that's how they grew).

Also...any good ideas for a pumpkin carving?

Happy Hallow's Eve! :pumpkin:

The Beginning of Animation School

Journal Entry: Mon Oct 6, 2014, 11:35 PM

Today, I began my year at Animation School!!

Let me tell the tale of my journey there.

I took off early, so I could give myself some extra time, to the bus station (cheapest mode of transport for me, and I need to save gas for doctor appointments for the kids), and I arrived at 1:58 PM. The next bus was due at 2:06 PM. So, I waited... ... ...and...waited... ... ...and... ... ...uh...waited... ... ...then, FINALLY, at 2:18 PM, the bus came...and...PASS RIGHT BY ME?!?!? I was at the STATION! RIGHT there! And, I know it was a station, because there were the schedules and routes in it!  BLEH. SO, I had to go walk up the road to ANOTHER bus station and wait. SIGH. My transit app on my phone said to get off at one specific stop and grab a different bus to take another route so I could get there in time. I sat down on the bench beside the only person there: an older gentleman with a backpack. He asked me where I was going, and I explained I was going to school and that it was my first day taking public transit. He started talking about how I need to get the hang of how the system works. I was okay listening to him...until he pulled out a large bottle of WINE from his backpack, cracked it open, and started DRINKING it! Then, after stuffing it back into his backpack, he lit up a cigarette right beside me (not to the side, but right beside me) without even ASKING if it was okay. AUGH! So, I left.

I walked, AGAIN, to another stop. I tried calling my hubby, but he'd stepped out with the kids to pick up some diapers, so I couldn't get a hold of him. My dad was working, and my mom didn't have a car. SO, I just went to the next stop and managed to get a bus to the bus exchange. When we got THERE, I was the last to get off...and the driver closed the doors before I could get OUT!!

"Uh...sir? I'm still in here!"

"Huh? OH! I didn't know you were even THERE!"

"Yeah...that's what I get for being so QUIET..." Yeah. Call me Miss Invisible!!! GRR.

I ran to catch the bus I needed, which was leaving right away (3:15 PM), but it pulled away just as I got to the curb. I had to wait another ten minutes...I was officially late for CLASS.

I FINALLY got the right bus, and I FINALLY got to class. And, wouldn't you know...I went into the wrong building for class. AND, when I got to the RIGHT building, I went up and down the stairs TRYING to find the door to the hallway that would take me to the classes. Otherwise, it was just STAIRS.

THANK GOODNESS one of my teachers had come out to find me! Apparently, my whole class was now wondering where I was! Haha! They practically all cheered when I came into the room! Way to go to hype up the class, gal! One of my friends there had gotten the whole class wondering about me.

From there? We learned about our teacher and the guy who wrote 'The Animator's Survival Kit'. I'm SUPER excited to start drawing tomorrow!!!!! I can't wait to get my homework started! SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!

AND, that was my day!
